Today was a bit of a mixed bag; I outperformed expectations in some regards, but in others, I (somewhat predictably) struggled to find another gear. Performance aside though, I really enjoyed training today, especially on a busy class full of good people. I worked out on the 6pm class at CrossFit Napalm.
2 Snatch Pulls + 1 Power Snatch + 1 Snatch + 1 Overhead Squat
3 Sets at 70kg
3 Sets at 80kg - only one snatch pull for these.
Snatch
Build to heavy single - 97.5kg (very narrowly missed 100kg, which was there given more time).
3 Rounds For Time:
15 Calorie Row
30 Double Unders
20 Alternating Dumbbell snatches 22.5kg
5 Burpee Box Overs 24"
20 Alternating Dumbbell Snatches
30 Double Unders
15 Calorie Row
Rest 90 Seconds
17:45 with round splits of 4:45, 4:56 and 5:03.
I paced the first half of the first round, with every intention of putting my foot down after the burpee box overs. I tried, but there was no next gear today. This is hardly surprising with my level of accumulated fatigue, so I tried to move consistently and reap the benefits of the workout. That seems to have been achieved.

Food
I started at 7am with 3 rashers of bacon, 4 fried eggs and a few blueberries.
At 1:30pm I had 1lb of mince with cheese, followed by two small oranges.
At 8:30pm I had a rump steak, a 4 egg omelette with cheese and a jacket sweet potato with butter. I also had a lump of Gouda while I cooked. I followed this with blueberries and honey. Guess who forgot to buy yoghurt again today?
