Physical Freedom 107/365 - 20220420

And we're back. Not to anything spectacular, but to normality at least. Today was a particularly busy and mentally demanding day, but training felt right back on track. I hit the 6:30pm class at CrossFit Napalm, in addition to a few bits I did at my gym at around 4pm.

5 GHD Nordic Curls

10 Standing Hamstring Curls Each Leg 8kg

10 Reverse Hyperextensions 100kg

3 Rounds:

10 Strict Pull-Ups

10 Shoulder Taps

10 Toes to Bar

10 Handstand Push-Ups

4 Rounds:

10 Hollow Rocks

10 V-Ups

10 Jackknives

10 Second Hollow Hold

3 Rounds for Time:

15 Calorie Row

20 Alternating Hang Dumbbell Snatches 22.5kg

10 Burpee Box Overs 24"

10 Alternating Hang Dumbbell Snatches 22.5kg

15 Calorie Row

Rest 1:30

13:58

The leg work was done at my gym, all the rest during the class. The core work caught me out. I not only got to the point of struggling, but I physically couldn't perform the reps required. This was very challenging.

The workout was right up my street. I enjoyed the movements and the intensity, and felt better able to push. I did hold back a little on the first round, and still a little, albeit less, on the second round, but by the third round I had nothing left to lose.

Back to the reverse hyper today after neglecting it for a little while. These are a priceless addition if you have the space. Click the image for yours, and use TH5 to save.

Food

Back on track here too!

At 7am I had 2 bacon rashers, 3 scrambled eggs and some smoked salmon.

At 12:30pm I had 500g pork mince and some cheese.

At 4:30pm I had a banana.

At 9:45pm I had 450g mince with some red Leicester followed by banana, yoghurt and honey.

Cravings and hunger were seemingly absent today, which makes life much easier. Staying on top of hydration, especially with it warming up outside, surely helped with this too!
