Physical Freedom 51/365 - 20220223


A day where my training is given to me, without prior knowledge, is almost always a fun day. Today certainly lived up to that maxim! I went again to CrossFit Napalm to train. I took part in the 5:30pm class.


Snatch


Build to max. -95kg


Not perfect, although up to 90kg felt as good as it has for a long time. I then made a couple of careless misses at 95kg, but then hit a comfortable lift. I decided to move onto clean and jerks, rather than push further.





Clean & Jerk


Build to max - 127.5kg


This ranks as about my 5th or 6th biggest clean and jerk of all time. It goes without saying to hit this while underweight (I weighed 88.8 this morning) and without tapering is very pleasing!


14 Min AMRAP:


3 Handstand Push-Ups*

6 Toes to bar

8 Double Dumbbell Squats 20kg**


*Add 3 reps each round

**Rx was 22.5kg, but there were none available.


I got 1 HSPU on the round of 24 (7+1).

Food


I had my breakfast around 7:30am which was cherry tomatoes, blueberries, bacon, sausages and 2 fried eggs.


At 1pm I had lunch, which was prawns, rump steak, sausages and cheese. I followed this with a banana.


At 8:30pm I had mince topped with cheese, followed by blueberries, raspberries, yoghurt and honey.
