Physical Freedom 136/365 - 20220526

Today was a pretty standard day for both food and training. That's not a negative. There seems to be disappointment when something isn't brilliant, the best, fantastic and so on, but by definition, most days are pretty average. But an average day doing what you love, is pretty great to be honest. I trained at 6pm at CrossFit Napalm. I had intended to also do some stuff earlier in the day, but I've encountered gross corporate incompetence yet again, so unfortunately my workload doesn't allow double trainings for the next few days.

Power Clean

Build to heavy double - 110kg. I was pretty happy with this, although it was scrappy, I'm still happy to shift this beltless, in flat shoes.

1 Hang Power Clean + 1 Power Clean

10x Every 45 Seconds - 90kg. This felt good.

Clean Pull

3x3 130kg

15 Minute AMRAP:

10 Pull-Ups

5 Overhead Squats 50kg*

10 Box Jumps 24"

*Add 5 reps every 2 rounds.

I completed both rounds of 20, and 10 of the first 25 overhead squats.

This was a really fun workout. I pushed the pace on the pull-ups and overhead squats, staying unbroken on them both, and held back on the box jumps. This decision was based purely on the fact they would jack my heart rate up and slow me down overall had I pushed the pace.

Equipment:

With Mountain Murph just around the corner, it seems a great time to remind you that you can buy Bulldog Gear's plate carrier by clicking below, and you can save by using TH5.

Food

At 7am I had 3 rashers of bacon, 3 fried eggs and some berries.

At 11am I had a small orange.

At 1pm I had 1lb of mince with cheese.

At 5pm I had a small orange.

At 8pm I had 2 rump steaks (one smaller), a small lamb chop, a lump of cheddar and 3 fried eggs. I followed this with raspberries and blueberries with Greek yoghurt and honey.
