Physical Freedom 123/365 - 20220506


Today was off the beaten track for me. I'd spent the week debating which day I was going to deviate from my normal way of eating, and I chose today. Not completely, and not to excess, just enough to enjoy something different. I trained on the 5pm class at CrossFit Napalm.


Handstand Play


I hit a couple of 30-40 second holds, but largely held back as I was very sore and tired going into today.


15 Minute Alternating EMOM:


  1. 5 Strict Pull-Ups +7.5kg

  2. 5 Strict Handstand Push-Ups

  3. 10 Kipping Pull-Ups

  4. 8 Kipping Handstand Push-Ups

12 Minute AMRAP:


1000m Ski Erg Buy in then in remaining time:

15 Wallballs 9kg

12 Hang Power Cleans 50kg

9 Push Jerks 50kg


I got 4 rounds and 10 wallballs.



I went at 80% today. i worked, but I finished on my feet, not on my back looking at the roof. This wasn't laziness, but it was very much necessary. It's been a big week. My body needed to move, but not too hard. This seems to have helped, but we'll see tomorrow.

Food


Breakfast at 7am was standard; 3 bacon rashers, 3 fried eggs and some berries.


At 11am I had an orange for a snack.


At 1pm I had mince and cheese.


At 8:30pm I had a large pizza and some chicken strips.


The pizza was good, but I'll definitely feel it tomorrow!
